Pricing

Good news! Because we choose to work and live in beautiful North Idaho, our expenses are lower and we are able to pass the savings along to you, our clients!

We generally charge a flat rate of $35 (US) per hour for in-house web site design, copy editing, graphic design and maintenance, overseeing your domain registration and site hosting arrangments and for building backend databases. For work at your location, we charge $45 (US), including travel time.

For those individuals and businesses who prefer pre-determined pricing, we have set up standard suites of services which have proven popular with our clients. These fall into two broad categories: Web Site Design/makeover, and domain registration, hosting, and forwarding. We also offer a list of individual "a-la-carte" service choices that give you a way to add specific elements to your web pages, or for developing graphics for use in other areas of your business.
We also offer Pro Bono assistance with web page and graphics design for qualifying charitable and educational institutions.

At Ozone Ranch, we believe that our pricing and packages are competitive with any of our competition, but because we depend on third parties for some services, particularly in the area of hosting, all prices listed are subject to change, effective at the beginning of any new service period (there -- now our attorneys are happy, too). Of course, you can be sure that we will resist such changes whenever possible, because there is plenty of competition in our business.

Site Design

If you want to host your site with your own Internet Service Provider (ISP) without your own domain name, are looking for web resource development on a private Intranet or Extranet, or even already have a domain registered and have made arrangements for third-party hosting, this may be all that you need. In cases requiring the makeover of an existing site, the prices could be slightly higher to significantly lower and would need to be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us for a courtesy site makeover evaluation.

Domain registration, hosting, and forwarding

Use these plans with the above site design packages or on their lonesome, if you prefer to develop your own site content.

Please note: none of these plans include the fixed InterNIC charges, which will be billed directly to you -- $70/1st 2 yrs & $35/yr thereafter. The charges listed herein only reflect work performed by Ozone Ranch on your behalf.

Basic internet presence, $25 one-time setup, and $75/year

Serves to connect your new domain name to a page containing a description of your business, along with contact information.

"Frugal domain" plan -- $25 one-time setup, $95 annually, utilizing page hosting space provided by your existing ISP account.

This plan makes sense if you are already paying for an Internet access plan which includes adequate web space for your planned site and you would just like to use your new domain name to funnel traffic into that space. If you are unsure, check with your Internet Service Provider to see if space for your own web site is included with your account. Typically, such accounts include 1-5 megabytes of server disk space and this is more than adequate for the typical small-to-medium business site.

	Register a new domain and forward to your own host location
	Use your ISP e-mail, free e-mail service mailbox (i.e. HotMail, ExciteMail, etc), or add yourname@yourdomain.com, for an additional $10/month/mailbox address
	A basic "flyer"-style page for your location until your permanent home page is loaded.

	Sound good, but no ISP host for the actual site? While we are unable to coordinate setting up your account with an ISP in your area (even up in our rural area there are about 8 local companies providing this service to local clients), we can get you set up with a non-dial-up server-space provider for your pages, and oversee the management of this account for $60/year

	Change incidents beyond those included in a plan will be charged based on our standard hourly rate, with 1/2 hour minimum.
	Expenses incurred by travel to your business location, or by long distance dial-in to your equipment located at such a location will be billed to you.
